Vedha
Pooja Ghee
Lamp ghee for daily worship, in the same bottle as a cooking oil. Everything that makes it a different product had to happen on the label.
A shared bottle.
Vedha uses the same moulded PET body and the same red-and-yellow closure as the mustard oil. That is a cost decision made before the design starts, and it means the label is the only thing separating a devotional product from a kitchen one.
So the label does not try to look like a food pack. It is gold and saffron, with a drawn flame above the wordmark, a row of lit diyas across the base, and ornamental hangings down both sides — the visual language of a temple shelf rather than a grocery aisle.
Three sizes, one label redrawn.
100 ml, 450 ml and 900 ml. The label is not scaled between them — the proportions of flame, wordmark and diya row are reset at each size so that the smallest bottle does not read as a shrunken version of the largest.
Essence of the Divine runs along the bottom edge on all three, small, in spaced capitals.
3 pieces of artwork.
